 For our trailer as a group we had to decided on what age rating we were going to give it, we decided to give our trailer a rating of 15. our film is about a psychotic clown that has escaped and mental asylum. due our idea we looked a films that are similar to our genre and style of film. this chart is of the age ratings that saw the film IT. this is an appropriate film to use for an example due to the antagonist being similar to IT. the chart reads that 61% of 15-24 years old was the most targeted and watched age that saw the film. this result influenced us to deciding what age to make our film trailer. the other reason for us choosing this for our film trailer is because we wanted to target our film at a younger adult ages due to the social lifestyles they have. most teens at this age go out and socialise with friends and one of the main things they like to do in groups is go to the cinema. also linking back to the recently released film IT the protagonists in this film are younger teens, this is effective as it draws in the younger audience of 15+ and they can relate
to the situations of the characters in the film.
